I sat in the quiet of the room.
I heard
my breath
birds chirping
the clock ticking
cars moving
peacefulness
happiness
quiet
I like the quietness of the morning. I loved watching the sun peek through the window in the kitchen. Soon it had moved on to rise and wake the rest of the world to this beautiful day. Thank you, God, for this day you have given us. The last day of summer. Good bye, Summer! I'll miss you.

This is a wonderful idea, thanks for sharing. Wish I were there helping Jonas eat his apple crisp, looks delicious! I can smell it now. Glad you mentioned your Grandma Latscher, she loved to share her love and knowledge with you girls and to take you on many adventures, that was her favorite thing to do. Love you Aunt Kathi
